If you are filing it outside Korea

This document has no official English version. Getting a Korean document accepted abroad usually runs in this order.

1. Professional translation
Most of these documents have no official English version, so translation is the first step in getting them accepted abroad.
2. Notarisation of the translation
A notary attests that the translation matches the original. Often a prerequisite for apostille.
3. Apostille or consular legalisation
For Hague Convention countries an apostille; for others, legalisation at that country's embassy in Seoul. Which one depends on the destination.
4. International courier of the originals
Many recipients will not accept a scan. The originals go out by tracked courier and you get the tracking number.

Whether you need an apostille or consular legalisation depends on the destination country. Tell us where it is going and we will route it correctly.

What we do, and what we don't

We obtain, translate, legalise and deliver Korean official documents, and we tell you which document shows what. We report what the public record says — nothing more.

We do not give legal, tax or valuation opinions, file applications with Korean authorities on your behalf, or broker property. Those are restricted to licensed professionals in Korea, and we will introduce you to one rather than overstep. A register extract tells you a mortgage exists; whether the deal is wise is a judgement for your own counsel.

Documents obtained through this service are official issuances of the agency concerned. Summaries we prepare are a convenience, carry no legal force, and do not replace the document itself.
